Giorgia Bronzini tenth in Open de Suéde Vårgårda World Cup

Wiggle Honda Pro Cycling’s Giorgia Bronzini finished in tenth place in the Open de Suéde Vårgårda World Cup race after being part of the race’s key ten-rider move. With the help of teammate Linda Villumsen, the former two-time World champion made the decisive split in the closing laps of the 132km race, but was just unable to follow the late accelerations of the big favourites on the 11km circuit’s main climb. The race was won by World champion Marianne Vos (Rabobank-Liv/GIant), ahead of Emma Johansson (Orica-AIS) and Amy Pieters...

Linda Villumsen Wins Route De France With A Devastating Solo Break

Linda Villumsen completed Wiggle Honda Pro Cycling’s near-total domination of the 2013 Route de France by seizing the golden jersey on the final day. With teammate Giorgia Bronzini having won the first six stages, the Danish-born New Zealander broke away from the rest of the overall contenders of the race and soloed away to take the seventh. By the time Villumsen reached the finish of the 130.2km stage, between Cusset and Chauffailles, she was almost six minutes clear of the chasing group that contained overnight race leader Emma Johansson...

Bronzini does it again with fourth straight Route de France stage victory!

Wiggle Honda Pro Cycling’s Giorgia Bronzini sprinted to an incredible fourth straight victory in the Route de France, as she took stage four, between Cloyes-sur-le-Loir and Briare.  The former two-time World champion finished more than a length clear of her nearest rival once again, with Australian Melissa Hoskins (Orica-AIS) taking second, with Roxane Fournier of the French National Team in third. At 140km, the stage was the longest of the race but, with little to break up the peloton in its length, it was the biggest group so far that...
