Emma Johansson Blog: Count Down!
Today the Olympic RoadRace is exactually 2 weeks away. Preparations have been going well and form is on it’s way. Thuringen Rundfahrt was a perfect last race and I came out of that stage race feeling strong. So expectations are high for my last Olympic Games. I expect to be abel to do my absolut best and to be abel to dig deep. How far that will reach only time can tell… But if I can be the absolute best of me on that race in two weeks time I must be satisfied no matter what! So that is my goal, to be the very best Me! Every race that I choose to do is important to me. So whether it’s world championships or a smaller race in Belgium or somewhere else doesn’t matter. So, of course I got excited when they a few months later invited me to come and race Castilla y Leon and later on – also Emakumeen Bira with them! Even though I spent almost every stage of my very first Emakumeen...

By Emma Johansson Finally I can say that I have a feeling of a normal daily life at my home here in Belgium. These first months of the season I have used some extra time to find race rhythm and to settle in. It has been some new bits and pieces as I’m new in the team, but it has helped a lot the way the Wiggle-High5 family has welcomed me and I’m looking forward to a great season with my new team! As usual in my cycling life, it has been a lot of travels as the whole world is my office. My team and the rest of the peloton is filled with...
