Wiggle Honda Pro Cycling’s Laura Trott took a clean sweep of victories, as the black and orange team dominated the Women’s endurance races at Round 4 of the Revolution Series, on the boards the Manchester Velodrome on Saturday night. The double Olympic Champion took the afternoon points race in style, ahead of Katie Archibald (Team Thomson’s Cycles) and Wiggle Honda Pro Cycling teammate Dani King.
The evening session then saw Trott then take her speciality event, the Elimination Race – or Devil take the Hindmost – ahead of Archibald and King once again. The event was then completed with a Wiggle Honda Pro Cycling clean sweep of the medals in the Scratch Race as King took the silver this time, behind Trott, with 19-year-old Elinor Barker – who had won the corresponding event in January – taking third.
