Anna-Bianca Schnitzmeier was the best finisher for Wiggle Honda Pro Cycling in the women’s Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, in 25th place, as the team had no luck in the European season opener. Wiggle Honda Pro Cycling trio Laura Trott, Dani King and Elinor Barker took Gold for Great Britain in the World Track Championships, in Minsk, Belarus, to successfully defend the title won the previous year. Twenty-two year old Emily Collins joins the Wiggle Honda Pro Cycling team after a stellar season with the American registered Vanderkitten-Focus team in 2012. Wiggle Honda riders make the selection in stage one of the Ladies Tour of Qatar

In their very first race together as a team, Wiggle Honda Pro Cycling’s Rochelle Gilmore and Lauren Kitchen both finished safely in the main group at the end of the first stage of the Ladies’ Tour of Qatar, between Doha’s Museum of Islamic Art and Mesaieed, after a hard day in the desert wind.  The stage was won by Australian Chloe Hosking (Hitec Products) after she escaped in a group of four riders with just ten kilometres of the 97km stage to go.
