Emilia Fahlin was born on the 24th October 1988 in Örebro, Sweden. Despite her young age Fahlin is a renowned rider given her long state of duty in professional cycling which started with the T-Mobile women’s team in 2007. Fahlin stayed with the team through its transition into Highroad, Colombia, and HTC, then stayed with the majority of its riders in the formation of Team Specialized-Lululemon. She has been riding for Hitec Products in 2013 but will be riding for Wiggle Honda Pro Cycling as from January 1st.
The 25 year old Swede has accumulated an impressive list of national titles in her professional career thus far with three time trial and two road titles. Next to that she claimed four stages in the 2011 Tour de L’Ardeche and several wins in the American domestic scene over the years including a stage in the prestigious Nature Valley Grand Prix, the Amgen Tour of California Women’s critérium and a stage in the Redlands Bicycle Classic. Emilia is an excellent all-rounder, capable of achieving results on a large variety of terrain. Arguably her greatest strength is her tireless support for her teammates, however, contributing a great deal to the successes of others.
Emilia’s abilities and strengths will make her an indispensable member of Wiggle Honda Pro Cycling in 2015.
